Unless another respec happens sometime, it's too late for lasers . I started on scrambler rifles instead...with just level 3 in SCR operation, I am tons more effective than with laser proficiency 5.

Prices are only fixed until they connect the Dust market to the Eve market. Work on that, instead of trying to rebalance prices manually. Plain old supply and demand will take care of price balancing.
